Over 40 attendees gathered at an intimate venue on 8th February 2023 to enjoy a sumptuous two course dinner with wine, a raffle, and a fascinating talk from the inspirational Sir John Redwood. Hillary Scott gave the vote of thanks. Topics covered included why the Bank of England is not independent; Sir John’s imminent, explosive blog revealing why Liz Truss was set up to fail; dealing with the tricky problems of doctors pensions and IR35; reforming the NHS; and much more. Thanks to all who attended including Reigate And Banstead Patrons who paid to attend and donated substantially. Enough donations were received by attendees to allow 14 Young Conservatives to buy subsidised tickets.
