True Blue Patrons at conference for the first time

It was an absolute privilege to attend this year’s Conservative Party Conference in Manchester. The atmosphere was full of enthusiasm, driven by one of the most visible and energetic turnouts of Young Conservatives I’ve ever seen. You couldn’t turn a corner without bumping into young activists sharing ideas, engaging in debate, and showing a genuine passion for the future of our party. This energy reminded me just how vital our generation is to the long-term success of Conservatism in Britain.

In the Party Lounge, I had the pleasure of representing True Blue Patrons at the Young Conservatives table, a vibrant hub for all things Young Conservatives. We spoke with an array of delegates from across the country, discussing initiatives designed to empower young people within the party and amplify their voices. From seasoned activists to first-time conference attendees, the appetite to get involved was real and deeply encouraging.

I was also honoured to join a panel hosted by Q2 Conservatives, representing True Blue Patrons alongside Attieh Fard (founder of Q2 Conservatives), several MPs, and the Chair of the National Convention. Our discussion focused on how policy can better reflect the realities facing young adults today. One of the key ideas explored was a £5,000 rebate for first-time buyers, a practical proposal aimed at helping young people onto the housing ladder and into long-term security. It was a dynamic and solutions-driven conversation, and I was proud to contribute.
