For the first time, the True Blue Patron Supper Club events surpassed 50% under 26s. James was delighted and spoke in his customary straight-talking way about the current state of play in politics and what the Conservatives must do to regain prominence with the public. Hilary Scott kindly gave the vote of thanks. As usual a delicious two course supper, raffle, and lots of time to chat with other guests. Some came in small groups, many came alone and left with new contacts.
Thank you to everybody who continually alerts other young Conservatives of these events – they are gaining a cult following.
Please note we now have a WhatsApp group with over 50 YCs from in and around London, the home counties and beyond.
Donations – are vital otherwise YC numbers are restricted.
The True Blue patrons supper club events always have a donation line which says clearly: “to help subsidise a young Conservative attending this event“. This is not technically a fundraising concept at the moment, it is to ensure YCs feel included, are offered affordable ticket prices, know they will be amongst like-minded people, and are welcome.
The events are also very, very affordable for instance under 26, student, Just £29. (Working, £33.) This is for a two course supper and a brilliant speaker in the middle of London. But – there also has to be a balance of other guests in order to make the finances work.

True Blue Patrons finances are run through Torridge and Tavistock Conservative Association where Debbie Flint has been an officer since 2020.
Debbie is also based in Surrey and works in London at weekends.
